I'm baaaAAAaaaak. . .

Howdy everyone! It's been a few years, but I'm finally dusting off some of my gear and thinking about doing some recording again. It may take me a while to figure things out again and really get rolling. I just wanted to say hi right now. Gonna take a look around and see what's new, and maybe go back and look at some old posts to remind myself of how I had things set up. Hope you've all been doing well. Looking forward to catching up with those of you who are still around from five or six years ago, and also getting to know some of you who've joined since I dropped off of the face of the planet (or at least the face of the forum). Later!

Howdy Salamander. Great to see you back and looking to record again.
Kristal 2 never eventuated but you may have seen the post that Studio One has released a Free version, so you might want to have a play with that too.

There are also a lot of familiar faces over at the Two Track Music forum.

Look forward to hearing how you go.

Cheers

Thanks, Bob. I'll definitely be giving Studio One a whirl. . . At that price I can't really go wrong. :) Hopefully I'll manage to get something in the can soon to share. I've been struggling a bit with resurrecting data after a hard drive replacement, as well as learning the ins and outs of running a dual boot system with Windows and Ubuntu. Lots of fun nerdy geekiness going on here. :) I'm getting very close to being ready to record though, I think. Wish me luck!
