How to remove pop

I am re-recording Time With You, the song I just posted. But, again, I have a pop in the track. I can see it on the wave form. I selected that section and dragged it down to the next waver. Is that what I do? But what effect would I do to reduce / eliminate the pop? I have no idea what caused it.

Once I know what effect to apply, how do I do that? I assumed that I drop it down into another waver, then select it, then apply the affect through the mixer window? I just selected it and removed all effects that I had applied to the original waver, but it removed all effects from the original waver, too! Sorry, don't know much about using effects.

Here is the image... don't know why it won't show.
