Need Help Music Not Loading Properly

Hi ,
My name is Dan.
This Kristal software is really good. Everything works fine
except for one thing , when I try importing a WAV audio like a song or something that was done outside Krystal , it imports in but the sound is totally slow speed.
Can someone tell me how to correct the problem ,
I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Dan

Sounds like an issue with the frequency of the sound you're importing. You need to ensure it matches whatever Kristal is set to.

Yeah , your right.
I went to check the sample rate on the songs and they were way to high so I converted down from another software then import the song back and it works perfectly. Thanks for the info.

I also have one more problem if you can help -
when I try record a second track or more , I get a delay problem when hearing it so It's hard to overdub. I know the Krystal manual mentions Lantancy problems with the computer , but I don't understand how to correct it and change the lantancy , can you explain what to do , I would appreaciate it.
Thanks ,
Dan

What you need to do is download Asio 4 All (very easily findable with Google, but I think the link is actually http://www.asio4all.com). This does some funky wizardry with your soundcard which stops the latency being an issue. And it's free.

It does require a bit of setting up (especially if like me you're recording on a PC with an inbuilt microphone which you want it to ignore entirely), but once it is latency will be as good as gone.
