Congrats, Dino! And it's nice to see a new face "in the money". Can't wait to see the next one--make it a good'un, Dino!:P

Well well well.... I am quite suprised with this win. Consecutive months. Yipeeee

I agree with the comments above in that all the entries were quite hard to separate. There is quite a compliment of talent in this here KAE Forum not only in the arena of writing and performing a tune but also getting the recording down on to disk in some form that we can all understand and enjoy.

I think the monthly KAE Challenge is a great and fun idea and it was fabulous to have 5 entries this time. Congrats to you. It was certainly a close contest. (I am still trying to dry my waterlogged desk after Smurf got me with those waves)

Sounds like a few more are chomping at the bit to get a peice of action. Thats good. Bring it :D:o

And to our good friend Squire, thank you so much for doing the vote tallying yet again.

Give me a day or so to think up the next one for April. I wasn't expecting I would be doing it again. Oh well.

Thanks
Dino

Aaargh! So close! :)

Congrats to Dino.
You have to come up with a challenge and a new song every month...
Hard work, winning, is it? :D

Yeah, I'm anxious to hear too; I have a song I'm just about done with and I'm hoping by some miracle that the specifications for the next contest will fit my song exactly. Hmmm, I wonder what the chances of that happening are...:D

Alrighty folks, I apologize for the less-than-creative manner in which I'm announcing the winner. -Lot's of things at work and at home started happening all at once (isn't that the way it always goes?)-

The top three tunes (and their average score out of 10) are:

1) In FIRST PLACE yet AGAIN is none other than the man from "down under" Mr. DINO WODINI with his song "On a Great Lake Shore." Dino's average score was 8.91

2) The SECOND PLACE winner had an average score of 8.82! He was in the lead up until the last 2 votes came in. Realize that only one percentage point separates Dino from the second place winner who is: SPIRAL with his song "Over the Atlantic Ocean."

3) In THIRD PLACE with an average of 8.36 (still pretty darn close to the 1st and 2nd place averages) is our very own man in blue, Mr. SMURF with "Sunday Drive."

CONGRATULATIONS to these winners and to the other entants as well. By the way, the averages for the other 2 tunes were between 7 and 8 for each of them; so this really was a tight contest all around.

I hope you will all think wisely about what you will wear and what you will say at the KAE press conference later today. ;)

Again it was an honor to "man the votes." Great job everyone!! -Squire
